At Riskoa, we are committed to conducting business ethically and sustainably, ensuring that our operations and supply chains align with internationally recognised standards for human rights, labour practices, environmental protection, and anti-corruption.
This Supplier Code of Conduct (Code) outlines the minimum standards and expectations for our suppliers. By agreeing to work with Riskoa, suppliers commit to aligning their practices with these principles, which form an integral part of our quotations, onboarding process, and contractual agreements.
Riskoa recognises that suppliers may require time and resources to align their operations fully with the provisions of this Code. We view this Code as a foundation for collaboration and continuous improvement, ensuring mutual benefit and alignment with shared values.
This Code applies to all suppliers working with Riskoa, including their subcontractors and business partners involved in the supply chain.
Key Compliance Areas:
Human Rights and Labour Practices: Upholding international labour standards and respecting workers' rights.
Environmental Protection: Minimising environmental impact and adhering to sustainable practices.
Anti-Corruption: Ensuring transparency and avoiding any form of corrupt practices.
Suppliers are expected to:
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the regions they operate.
Notify Riskoa immediately in the event of any conflict between this Code and local legal requirements.
Ensure compliance extends to subcontractors and other entities in their supply chain.
Suppliers are required to respect the fundamental principles outlined in the International Bill of Human Rights and the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
Expectations:
Prohibition of forced, bonded, or involuntary labour, including human trafficking.
Prohibition of child labour, adhering to the minimum legal working age.
Ensuring fair wages, working hours, and benefits in compliance with applicable laws.
Respecting workers’ rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining.
Maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.
Suppliers must strive to minimise their environmental footprint and support Riskoa’s sustainability goals.
Expectations:
Compliance with environmental laws and regulations in all operating regions.
Minimisation of waste, pollution, and resource consumption.
Proactive management of environmental risks associated with production and delivery.
Commitment to sustainable practices, including energy efficiency and carbon reduction.
Riskoa maintains a zero-tolerance approach to corruption in all forms, including bribery, extortion, and fraud.
Expectations:
Avoid offering, giving, or receiving bribes or other improper payments.
Maintain transparent and honest business practices in all dealings.
Establish internal controls to prevent and detect corruption.
Suppliers are required to:
Conduct their own due diligence to identify, prevent, and mitigate risks related to human rights, labour standards, environmental practices, and anti-corruption.
Inform Riskoa of any significant risks identified in their operations or supply chains.
Document and maintain records demonstrating compliance with this Code.
Riskoa may evaluate supplier compliance through:
Engagement calls or periodic self-assessments for transparency and collaboration.
Supplier questionnaires as part of onboarding or periodic reviews.
In higher-risk cases, Riskoa may request additional documentation or conduct on-site assessments.
Suppliers are encouraged to report any breaches of this Code, whether in their operations or the supply chain, to Riskoa via our Contact Support Route.
Riskoa recognises that full compliance with this Code may be a journey for some suppliers. We prioritise collaboration and constructive dialogue to address gaps.
Non-Compliance Process:
If gaps are identified, Riskoa will engage the supplier to develop and implement an action plan with clear timelines for improvement.
In cases of repeated or severe non-compliance, Riskoa reserves the right to suspend or terminate the business relationship.
Suppliers confirm their agreement to this Code of Conduct as part of:
